| All these
photos are of houses that I work on. They are simply quick snaps taken on my mobile phone
as and when the fancy takes me. They show the
range of work that I do and the difference that a really good cleaning makes to windows.
I take a pride in my work ... and I hope that it
shows in these pictures. |

Using the water-fed pole, most windows are
accessible. This window and the one next to it hadn't been cleaned properly for six years
- since the sunroom was built. The householder is delighted that all her windows can
now be kept immaculate. Her daughter is delighted that now she can see the full brightness
of the day from her bedroom window. |

This window was in a terrible condition. It is
at the side of a bungalow that had been owned by an elderly lady and allowed to
deteriorate for many years. It was a difficult job as the frames had developed a
powdery coating after many years of neglect. But after a single clean, all the windows and
frames came up as good as new.
The new owners had been thinking about having new windows. They
reckon that the cleaning saved them several thousand pounds! |

Before
 After

These pictures show the difference that a
thorough cleaning can make. And notice how much better the frames look as well. The
window shown is a side panel of a conservatory attached to a large bungalow. The
householder had always cleaned all the windows himself with Fairy liquid. He and his wife
thought that their windows were always dull - until Wally cleaned them.
Not only are they delighted with how well the windows shine, they are amazed at how
clean they stay. |

The water-fed pole is ideal for cleaning fiddly
windows like these. They are the front windows of a beautiful cottage and are directly on
the pavement. The window glass gets dirty quite quickly because of the amount of sticky
road film and the frames get a thick film of dust. The brush gets right into the corners
of each and every pane and the pure water dissolves all the dirt and rinses it away
leaving the windows spotlessly clean and shining. |
|
 |
Just look at the difference between the two
windows on the left which have been cleaned and the one on the right which was about to be
cleaned. These cottage windows simply couldn't be cleaned by traditional methods.
Because they are so high and on a very narrow pavement it is impossible to climb up to
them as the ladder would have to go on the road.
A few minutes work with the water-fed pole and see how these 150-year-old windows gleam
in the Spring sunshine. |

This window is about 80 years old - and looked
like it hadn't been cleaned for twenty years or so. The glass was caked in dirt and the
paint on the frame was very badly oxidised - and hence powdery. At first the water
picked up all the powdery paint and it looked like milk flowing off the window. After a
few minutes of wash - rinse - wash - rinse etc. the paint came up almost like new.
And just look at the shine on that glass! |
